Shipping Policy

Each item is made to order with love. Depending on the size, complexity, or level of customization, production times may vary. Most orders are shipped or ready for pickup within 3-5 business days from the date of purchase, unless we’ve discussed otherwise. For larger or more detailed custom pieces, a bit of extra time may be needed, but don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated every step of the way! Once shipped, packages are the responsibility of the carrier. Shipping insurance is included in shipping fees. If tracking shows delivered but you haven’t received it, please contact your carrier. If the carrier loses your package contact us, with proof of loss, and we’ll make it right!

All patterns, designs, product descriptions, photos, and other content on this site are the intellectual property of Moonion’s Crochet Corner/ShopMCC, unless otherwise credited.

You may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute any patterns, images, or product designs without written permission. Sharing product photos for personal use (like tagging us on social media, @knottbykayy on most) is always welcome and appreciated!

 

Return Policy

Because each item is handmade to order, all sales are final and we do not accept returns or exchanges. That said, your happiness with your purchase means a lot to us. If there’s an issue with your order, like damage during shipping or a mistake on our part, please contact support [[email protected]] within 7 days of delivery, and we’ll do our best to make it right!

Pickup Policy

Local pickup is available for all orders in Baltimore, Maryland.

Pickup appointments must be scheduled in advance and are available during the following time windows:

  • Monday-Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday-Sunday: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

Once your order is ready, you will receive a notification with instructions to schedule your pickup time. Please arrive promptly during your scheduled window, and notify us in advance if you need to reschedule.

 

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled for full refund BEFORE production has started.

Once production has begun, orders may not be cancelled without incurring a cancellation fee of 50% of the total order value. As each item is handmade, cancellations after this stage result in a loss of time, labor, materials, and product.

If you need to make changes to your order, please reach out as soon as possible. In many cases, adjustments can be made without the need to cancel.

For commissioned or customized pieces, checkout links will be automatically canceled if there is no activity or communication within 1 business week of the link being set.

Security Deposit Policy

A non-refundable security deposit of 50% is required to confirm all commissioned/custom orders. This deposit secures your place in the production queue and covers the initial cost of materials and labor.

The deposit will be applied toward the final total of your piece. The remaining balance is due upon completion and prior to pickup or shipment. By submitting a deposit, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

 

Custom Order Policy

Custom and commissioned items are accepted on a limited basis. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront to confirm your order. This deposit secures your spot in the production schedule and covers materials and prep time.

Production timelines for custom pieces may vary depending on complexity and communication speed during the design process. Please allow additional time for sourcing specialty materials, product design, or finalizing customizations.

Final payment is due before pickup or shipment. By placing a custom order, you agree to these terms.

Production & Processing Policy

All items are handmade to order with care and intention. Production times vary based on the complexity of the piece, the availability of materials, and overall order volume.

Estimated Production Times:

Hats for Littles: 1-2 business days

Adult Hats: 2-3 business days

Simpler purses like the Cascading Colors Purse: 4-5 business days

Complex purses like the Flower Power Purse: 5-7 business days

Please allow additional time for sourcing materials, finalizing customizations, and shipping times. Please note during high demand periods. like holidays, production and shipping times may be extended slightly.
